Curriculum and Instruction

The District Instructional Facilitator at Russellville Independent School District (RISD) works closely with school principals to plan and support strong teaching in all grade levels. This role includes leading training for teachers, choosing high-quality learning materials, guiding teaching plans and policies, visiting classrooms, giving helpful feedback, and reviewing student data to support learning needs.

Office Purpose

The Office of Curriculum and Instruction works to improve teaching and student learning. We support teachers in creating clear lessons, setting learning goals, planning engaging activities, and increasing the level of challenge for students. Our goal is to strengthen our programs so every classroom can succeed.
