The Golden Panther Award: Celebrating Excellence at RISD

As part of our commitment to becoming a “District of Choice,” Russellville Independent School District is proud to introduce The Golden Panther Award, a new initiative designed to recognize the dedication and excellence of our staff. This program celebrates the remarkable contributions of both certified and classified employees who go above and beyond in their service to our students, families, and community.

How It Works

• Monthly Recognition: During our monthly board meetings for the remainder of the year, we will honor one certified and one classified employee.
• Employee-Driven Selection: All RISD employees will have the opportunity to cast their votes using the survey available on the district website under "Faculty & Staff"
• Award & Prize: Each recipient of The Golden Panther Award will receive a $100 prize, generously sponsored by Houchens Benefits Group.
