Stakeholder Survey Results August 25 2026

hello Panther Family I want to thank you for taking a few minutes and watching this video we're off to a great start here in Panther nation very excited how smooth the start went that doesn't happen by chance it takes leadership it takes principles it takes staff working to ensure that we're prepared and ready when students arrive on that first day and a very thankful for that so I'd like to express my appreciation to our community our students and our staff for that great start I want to share a little bit of the info from you for you from um last school year last school year we completed a survey we've done that 3 years in a row now we partnered with a group called stutter and 1 of the things that I think High performing districts do is they information so when you give us feedback we need to share with you what we're doing with that feedback so I'm going to share 4 slides and I'm going to make available to you the entire slideshow on our website so you can go there if you want to dig deeper feel free to do so but we're going to look at a brief snapshot so this video is not too long uh here today so first looking at our district-wide results this is districtwide results every group has trended up over a 3-year period as you look at this slide our students are in the first bar graph our parents in the second and employees in the third the scale is from 1 to 5 5 being the highest so if you think of a being strongly disagree a 5 being strongly agree you can you can visualize what that span looks like from a 1 to 5 so overall for our students we had a average increase of mean increase of 35 since 2023 for our parents a mean increase of 0.17 since 2023 and for our employees a 37 since 2023 if you look at the next slide for our students so we're going to break it down and talk briefly about our students what they're telling us so in the survey that they took we had our highest ratings my learning is important at my school Point 428 my principal is a good leader 4.25 I have an opportunity to be successful 4.23 so our students are telling us they agree with those statements we're very proud of that if you look at our greatest gains the first was I set learning go and track my progress was an increase of 31 over the prior year so we've made tremendous gains there and you can look at the others as well 1 particular that I want to point out is students are nice and show respect 27 that was 1 of our greatest gains and if you look at the last column it was also 1 of our lowest ratings so we had a priority last year as we focused on supporting a culture of belonging connection that we wanted to increase that particular category based on steer's Research they said you should set your goal at 0.2 so we accomplished improving that particular category however it still 1 of our lowest so we still have room to grow and improve and we were implementing strateg IES to do so but we've made tremendous progress there so we want to celebrate that if you look at our parents survey information again we had a overall increase the average was 3.72 it went up to 3.81 added it back to so our highest rating is was the school is clean and well-maintained 4.13 so our our parents are telling us as they come to the schools that's what they see uh we're proud of that they're agreeing with that statement so last year 1 of our Focus areas was communication so if you look at 1 of our greatest gains parents said I received positive calls emails and notes it was increase of 39 and the next 1 I regularly receive feedback on my child's learning 0.24 so we had some positive impact we tried to do a lot of things to really focus on communication and I think you I've seen the results of that we're we're proud of that but we're going to continue to make that a priority because if you look at some of our lower ratings again it's still 1 of our lowest areas so we still have room to grow and improve uh we've used parent squares that we implement last school year will continue to use that we're going to talk about student-led conferencing and student presentations a lot during this year so as we focus on being as our strategic plan Says student centered that's going to be priority for us and we want to make sure that that translates to our parents they acknowledge that and hopefully it'll impact what you see and what you experience as a parent and being part of our our Panther Family lastly we want to talk about employees so again improvement over the prior year we are at a 4.08% that were made hit greatest gain so if you go to that middle column District information is communicated in timely matter that increased 39 that's a pretty significant increase and then employees regularly share and exchange ideas 0.25 in call we focus on communication and expectations uh we feel like that's had a positive impact that's why you see those there some of our lowest ratings 1 of the areas that we're going to continue to focus on is the middle comment I received appropriate Rec recognition or good work for good work we want to continue to recognize our employees last year we started the golden Panther award we do that quarterly we're going to continue that uh we recognize those folks that were involved in that last year opening day and and we had a lot of particip patient we're going to continue to explore ways to recognize our staff be transparent with our staff and improve that communication and and focusing on that belonging connection that's that's a part of our strategic plan that you've heard me mentioned many times before so what does all this mean if I'm a Community member if I'm a parent listening to this video what does this mean why is Mr esta sharing this hopefully it says 3 things first of all that we listen I'm taking enough time to share this back out to you this is what you told us so we listen second of all we take action we take this data and we plan around it uh we talked about what professional growth plans need to be for teachers and what it needs to be for support staff and what it needs to be for our principles so those things are incorporated as part of that professional growth plan and then last of all we focus on what's you have told us is important to you as you reflect back and we look at our our strategic plan our last pillars District of choice communication communicate in a targeted and specific manner that's what we're trying to accomplish that's what we're trying to be as we continue to plan and move forward and and do what's best for our community and what's for what's best for our students um that we have in front of us each and every day and we're blessed to have them the longer version is on our website of this slideshow feel free to go look at that explore that data a little bit more if I can ever be of service to you please reach out a lot of great things that are still to come we're expecting accountability data soon uh probably in the next 2 months we're going to do some things a little different we're going to look look at some opportunities for some Community tours of our schools so you're going to hear more about that and then
