The Community Education Department at Russellville Independent School District (RISD) is dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment where schools, families, students, and community partners work together to support the educational growth and well-being of all community members.

The mission of Community Education is to encourage and facilitate collaboration between schools, families, students, and community partners with the shared mission of educating all members of the community. Our Programs

The Community Education Department provides a variety of programs and services designed to engage and support the entire community. These include:

  • Community Classes: A range of classes and workshops for community members of all ages, focusing on topics such as health and wellness, financial literacy, technology, and more.
  • Partnership Development: Initiatives to build and maintain strong partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and agencies to support educational programs and services.
