RIS Board Members Recognize Retirees

At the monthly scheduled RIS District Board Meeting on Tuesday, May 19, a special time was allotted to recognize and honor those within our schools whom have chosen to retire from their dedicated respective positions.  Each retiree in attendance was presented a lovely retirement gift and honored by a personal colleague sharing memories, thoughts, and best wishes with their dear friends.  Smiles, tears, and hugs were on display all around the room as each individual retiree was recognized.  Board Member, James C. Milam, who was unable to attend, was even contacted by phone in order to add his best wishes. Pictured (L to R) are Robert Crick, Darlene Lamb, Ann Seidler, Susan McCloud, Doris Leavell, and Dwinda Stinson.  Retirees that were unable to attend were Tammy Grise, Pam Stewart, and Marilane Kerstiens.  Although they definitely will be missed, much joy is extended to these retirees as they begin this new chapter in their lives.
