Russellville High School Football Panther, Ta'Corian Darden, was surrounded by his coaches, teammates, classmates, family and friends at the RHS library on Wed., 2/14/15, to observe the signing of his Declaration of Intent to Play Football at Western Kentucky University this fall.
Darden sat with his mother and father, Shaquana and William Darden, and humbly listened as his football Coach, John Myers, spoke glowingly about this quarterback’s commitment to his team, his school, and his community.
Ta'Corian has been an excellent student as well. RHS Principal, Kim McDaniel, spoke of his example to the younger students on campus. Coach Myers took the opportunity to share how important it is to excel academically as well as athletically. He stated the first thing college coaches want to know is his study habits, his GPA, and his ACT scores. Congratulations, Ta'Corian.
