Everyone is invited to “An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe” at the Historic Logan County Courthouse on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at 7 p.m. Tickets to the event, which is a joint venture between the Russellville Arts Council and the Bowling Green Fountain Square Players, are $5, but ALL STUDENTS GET IN FREE.
The evening will cover the entire life of Poe, including works such as “Alone,” “Tell Tale Heart,” and “The Raven.” Darlene Gooch, who is one of the actors, reports that the cast is getting “totally creeped out by just listening to the words,” so it should be a very seasonal, dramatic evening! English, literature, and theatre students (and teachers) are especially encouraged to attend.
