Football rocognitions between Girls/Boys game, 01/15/16

On Friday evening, 01/15/16, between the girls and boys basketball games against Franklin/Simpson, Coach John Myers had the privilege of presenting RJSHS Principal, Mrs. Kim McDaniel, the 500^th winning-game football!  The following has been inscribed on the football:  “500^th Panther Football Win, Russellville 41 Bethlehem 20; ~Class A~; Regional Champs, Nov. 20, 2015".  This historic football inscription was designed and painted by “Mr. Panther” himself, Don Firchow.  Coach Myers then recognized some of his 2015, football players.  Pictured (left to right) Josh Bigbee:  Class A District 1 Player of the Year, Honorable Mention All-State; Trey Matthews, 1^st Team Academic All-State and Honorable Mention All-State; Brennan Hughes, and Chris Matthews, 1^st Team Academic All-State;  Not pictured:  Jordan Blick, Javaren Robey, and Kobe Kerr, 1^st Team Academic All-State; Jaylyn McMurry and Paul Jones, Honorable Mention Academic All-State.  Thank you, Mr. Firchow, and congratulations, gentlemen!  We are Panther Proud!
