Senior Beta attends 3rd District Spring Competition, 3/2/18


 Russellville High School Senior Beta members attended the 3rd District Beta Spring Competition in Bowling Green on Friday, March 2, and congratulations are in order for all their hard work and amazing talents. The following are the results: Humanities - Will Mullen, 1st Place; Arts and Crafts - Dixie Hopkins, 1st Place and Diedre Hester, 2nd Place; Name Tags - Lucy Wilkinson and Luci Suiter, 2nd Place; Holiday Cards - Katie Paul, 2nd Place; Woodworking - Nathan Cates, 1st Place; Color Photography - Cassidy Farwick, 1st Place; Quiz Bowl - Austin Coursey, Adam Williams, Matthew Wilkerson, and Ben Slack, 1st Place - A THREEPEAT! Science Division I - Robert Skipworth, 1st Place and Third District Vice-President; History Division II - Shawn Steel, 2nd Place; History Division I - Chris Williams, 2nd Place; Poetry - Trynity Dukes, 2nd Place; Advertising Design - Jasmaine Loving, 2nd Place and Maleah Buckner 3rd Place; Pillows- Jasmaine Loving, 3rd Place; Sewing - Rian Saul, 1st Place; Sweepstakes – 2nd Place; and Overall Crafts - 3rd Place. RHS students attending were: Seniors: Austin Coursey, Skyler Hale, Logan Long, Will Mullen, Katie Paul, Luci Suiter, Lucy Wilkinson, and Adam Williams; Juniors: Jayce Buchner and Maleah Buckner; Sophomores: Nathan Cates, Jasmaine Loving, Laura Mullen, Rian Saul, Robert Skipworth, Benjamin Slack, Matthew Wilkerson, and Chris Williams; Freshman: Hannah Alford, Trynity Dukes, Karlee Elrod, Cassidy Farwick, Diedre Hester, Dixie Hopkins, Annalee Leeman, and Chloe Shumate. The Sr. Beta Club Sponsor is Biology/AP Biology Teacher, Tanya Mullen.
