Standouts honored at home basketball game

Former Panther baketball players and Austin Peay State University standouts Maurice "Squeaky" Hampton and Charles "Bubba" Wells were inducted into the RHS Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame during the Feb. 7 home basketball game against Logan County High.

Hampton, who played several seasons of international professional basketball, is a 2002 RHS graduate whose accolades include two-time state tournament Player of the Game and Mr. Basketball runner-up.
Wells, a 1992 graduate who was Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year in college, among other honors, went on to play for the Dallas Mavericks.
Our school district is very proud to have these two fine alumni in our RHS Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame.
