Stevenson Elementary Principal,
Mrs. Robin Cornelius, has been selected as part of the 2018-2019 Leadership Institute
for School Principals Class. Research
has shown that effective leaders have a positive impact on student and school
performance, and the Leadership Institute for School Principals offers
public-and private-school principals in Kentucky an opportunity to receive
powerful leadership training in partnership with The BB&T Leadership Institute.
Kentucky’s business community provides a
significant investment of $4,500 per participant for this professional
development opportunity. Thanks to
donations from individuals, businesses and communities, the program is free for participants. Since 2011, more than 300 Kentucky Principals have
completed the Institute at no cost to themselves. Mrs. Cornelius’ first Executive-level training session will
be June 19-21, at The BB&T Leadership Institute in High Point,
North Carolina. Congratulations, Mrs.
