Congratulations to RHS Academic Team members---(L-R) Phillip Wilkerson, Kyran Williams, Will Mullen, and Austin Coursey for becoming National History Bowl Finalists this past Saturday, 1/16/16, during competition in Owensboro. The team has also earned a spot at the national competition to be held in Washington, DC. The students were accompanied by RHS Academic Team Coach, Mrs. Jennifer Rogers.
The RMS Academic Team will host the district academic team matches this Saturday, 1/23/16. Assessments will be administered on Tuesday, 1/19/16, at the school with competition finishing on Saturday. Participating teams include RMS, Adairville, Lewisburg, Olmstead, and Chandlers. These teams will compete in Future Problem Solving events, written assessments, and quick recall. The top five students in each written assessment area, the top two teams in Future Problem Solving, and the top two teams in quick recall will advance to the regional competition on February 13.
