While there, students competed in written composition, quick  recall, written assessments, individual future problem solving, and  general knowledge tests.  The RHS Academic Team is led by Mrs. Jennifer Rogers, Head Coach, and Mrs. Donna Wilkerson, future problem solving Coach and assistant quick recall Coach.  Mrs. Tina Shoemake is the Head Coach of the RMS Academic Team, with Mrs. Rebecca Gwynette serving as the future problem solving Coach.  More than 20,000 students from across the Commonwealth participate in KAAC-sponsored events annually.  Competition begins at the district level, moves on to regional competition (for qualifying students), and culminates with state finals.  Kentucky Governor’s Cup is the state’s premier academic event.
