Important Announcements

Beginning June 3, three breakfasts and three lunches will be delivered or can be picked-up on Wednesday, June 3, 10, 17, & 24. If delivered, someone must be available to receive the meals. They will not be left at the door. Pick-up schedule is from 8:00a-12:00p at Russellville High School.

Even if you have already signed-up for meals, parents/caretakers must complete the new meal request form found HERE.

I was born and raised in Elizabethtown, Ky. I graduated with my bachelor's degree from Midway University and am working towards my masters in early childhood education right now. I married my husband, Jacob, in 2016, and we have a 20-month-old son. We love to go to the park and play outside when we're not in the classroom. I love cats, coffee, and movies!

My name is Bethani Blume. I'm married with 2 children, and I live in Lewisburg, Ky.  I started work at RPA in December 2018. My area of expertise is working with the hearing impaired, and at RPA,  I work with and teach American Sign language to students and sometimes adults! I have known sign language since 2002 and went to a college for the deaf in Ohio.

My name is Amy Clinard, and I am the secretary at Russellville Preschool Academy. I am a mother to three wonderful daughters, Macie (9), Shelby (16) and Taylor (18). I enjoy going to the beach, all things chocolate, and UK basketball. I love my job and consider myself blessed to be able to work with such a great work family and our #ittybittypanthers!

My name is Kelsey Hampton. I am an instructional assistant, and I work with Ms. Kaleigh Thomas at RPA. I am married and have 2 children that attend Russellville Schools, and both my husband and I are Russellville alumni. I started working in the school district in 2017, and this is my second year working at RPA. I feel very fortunate to work with our #ittybittypanthers!

My name is Christina Hankins. I am an instructional assistant at Russellville Preschool Academy, and as a floater, I get to work and be involved with all the preschoolers on a daily basis. I started at RPA last year and have grown the love of all our #ittybittypanters! I have lived in Russellville all my life, and I graduated from Russellville High School in 1996. I have been married to my husband for 20 years, who is also a RHS graduate. I have two children: Lyndon is 14 and a freshman at RHS, and Landry is 11 in the 6th grade at RMS.

My name is Rebecca Hollis, and this is my second year teaching preschool at RPA. I absolutely love our #ittybittypanthers and my RPA work family! I graduated in May 2018 from WKU with my bachelors degree in early childhood education. I am currently enrolled in a masters program at Eastern Kentucky University. I was born and raised here in Russellville and was so excited to move back after college and teach in my hometown. I live with my dog, Wrigley, and my two guinea pigs, Hedwig and Dobby. I have always had a passion for working with young children, and I am so blessed to be able to teach here at RPA.

My name is Kasie Mason, and I am a lead preschool teacher at Russellville Preschool Academy. This is my second year with the preschool crew, and I look forward to many more! I have two kids of my own. My daughter Kyla, is in first grade at Stevenson Elementary, and my son, Conner, is 22 months old. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education at Western Kentucky University. My passion has always been working with young children, and I look forward to all the wonderful years with the #ittybittypanthers!


Michele McCloughan

My name is Michele McCloughan, and I am the Early Childhood Instructional Facilitator and Preschool

Coordinator at Russellville Preschool Academy. I have 27 years of educational experience in the public

school system. I am happily married to my husband, Bob, and we have three beautiful daughters and

two wonderful grandsons. I am a graduate of Western Kentucky University with certifications in the

areas of elementary education K-4, special education K-12 (LBD and FMD), and early childhood. Before

coming to Russellville, I taught special education, second grade, third grade, and third through fifth

grades English/Language Arts. I served as the Elementary Co-Director for Western Kentucky University

Writing Project for eight years and have been on the board of the Kentucky Council of English Teachers

for the past six years.

My name is Felicia Morris. I am an instructional assistant in Mrs. Paula Barnes’ class. This is my second year at Russellville Preschool Academy. I am a wife and mother to 5 children. One is in high school, three in middle school, and the #5 attends RPAl. I have an associates degree and am continuing my education with a major in elementary education. I love working with all the #ittbittypanthers and watching them learn, grow, and mature throughout the school year!

I am Angela Oglesby. I am a transplant to Kentucky from West Texas, and I love the hills here! I have raised a blended family of 10 children and am officially an “empty nester.” This is my 2nd year as a paraeducator here at RPA and love, love our #itty bitty panthers

My name is Megan Shelton. Before working at Russellville Preschool Academy, I worked in Russellville Independent as a substitute teacher for 3 years, and in March of this year, I started as an instructional assistant in the classroom with Ms. Rebecca Hollis. I love working with her and the students! I grew up in Auburn, Ky, but moved to Lewisburg 9 years ago with my husband John. We have two children Jordan, who is 10 and Makenna, who is 7 years old. We enjoy sports, traveling, camping, and fishing together as well as spending time with our families. I studied at Hopkinsville Community College and Western Kentucky University and finished my degree in 2016. I am so blessed and excited to be part of the #ittybittypanther team and look forward to working with the staff and students at RPA each and every day!

My name is Tanya Taylor. I was born and raised in Springfield, Tennessee. In 1999, I graduated from Springfield High School, and in 2017, I received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education (with a concentration in mathematics) from Austin Peay State University. I received my first teaching position in Robertson County TN in 2015 where I taught first grade and fourth grade. However, I found my true passion when I began teaching preschool three years ago here at Russellville Preschool Academy. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree with a concentration in early childhood education. I love being an educator as well as a nurturer to the #ittybittypanthers of Russellville. I consider it an honor to work in this school system.

My 12-year old daughter, Macy, is in the 7th grade at Russellville Middle School. I am married to my very best friend, and we have a son, Ethan, who is 2-years old. I also have two step-daughters, Danielle (19) and Madison (15). We are a very happy blended family!

My name is Kaleigh Thomas, and I teach Preschool at Russellville Preschool Academy. This is my 2nd year working at RPA and my 3rd year teaching. I am a 2017 graduate of WKU where I graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. I currently live in Bowling Green but am from Hopkinsville, KY. My favorite part of this job is getting to know each and every child who walks through my door and learning and growing together as we move day-to-day through the school year. I love building relationships with my students and giving them the skills to build relationships on their own, ones that they can carry on throughout their lives.

I am Tonya Thomas, and this is my second year teaching preschool at RPA. I have a bachelor's degree from WKU in Elementary Education and am currently working on a masters in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education. I have two sons, ages 27 and 18 and a 2 year old grandson. I absolutely love teaching preschool! My students capture my heart quickly! In my spare time I enjoy being at the lake.

My name is Irene Vargas.  I am an instructional assistant in Ms. Tanya Taylor’s classroom. I was born in California but have lived in Russellville most of my life.  In 2010, I graduated from Russellville High School. I began my profession as an instructional assistant/paraeducator at Russellville Preschool Academy last year, and I love working with our #ittybittypanters!
