The following school day start and end times will be effective beginning with the 2020-2021 RISD School Year.
Russellville Primary Academy P-K: 8:00 – 3:20
Stevenson Elementary: 8:20 – 3:40
Russellville Middle School: 7:45 – 3:00
Russellville High School: 7:45 – 3:00
Our staff are working hard to prepare for the reopening of schools this fall. We are actively in the planning process as we have received final guidelines from the Kentucky Department of Education that is aligned with the Center for Disease Control. We are currently working to implement the guidelines to provide a safe environment for students and staff.
More information will become available on Wednesday, July 15. We will begin having frequent updates after July 15 from the district and schools about registration, schedules and other vital information.
I want to compliment our reopening steering committee for their hard work on our Roadmap to Reopening Schools. Led by Dr. Steven Moats and Mrs. Kim McDaniel, the committee has worked hard to develop a plan that will provide a safe environment as well as an effective educational plan. I believe it will be well received by our school staff, students, parents and our community partners.
