Little Panther Academy begins, 8/24/18
Russellville Independent Schools began its “Little Panther Academy” for
the 2018-19, school year at the Logan County Public Library on Friday, Aug. 24,
from 10:00—11:30 am. Once again, Linda Shelton, shared she was very
pleased with the attendance of the children and families. There was a
total of 40 people with 20 children attending.
The children were excited with the return of planned activities that
included: musikgarten, storytelling,
make-it & take-it activities, and crafts. The purpose for the “Little
Panther Academy” is to teach parents to become “teachers” of their children,
provide families with resources and information to help their children become
“School Ready”, and to learn some of the necessary developmental skills
children need in order to be successful. This year the “Little Panther
Academy” will also have sessions within Stevenson. The dates are included in the pictures posted. Registration
is open to parents of children, birth to 3 years old. For more
information contact: Linda Shelton at (270) 726-8405, or [email protected].
