Four Russellville High School senior athletes were honored May 3rd at the South Central Outstanding Regional Excellence In Sports (SCORES) Banquet held at the National Corvette Museum. The evening began with an inspirational message from Olympic Gold Medalist Claire Donahue (pictured above with Chelsea Jenkins and AK Tisdale). Awards were given for a variety sport honors including Overall Male and Female Athletes of the Year. AK Tisdale and Amber Sydnor were chosen for Russellville High School. Amber was also chosen as the Outstanding Female Basketball Player of the Year and Jordan Kennedy was chosen as the Outstanding Male Basketball Player of th Year. Kennedy and Sydnor were selected for those honors out of multiple submissions from over seventeen different high schools. Chelsea Jenkins was also honored as having been a Wendy's Heisman Award Winner during the school year. Congratulations to all of these deserving students.
