Weekly Update March 17th

Good Sunday evening to everyone. I hope this finds you dry and warm.

· Our baseball and softball teams both hosted their home
season openers this past week. The boys hosted Bowling Green and lost
10-4. The Lady Panthers opened their season with a win at home against
the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers. We wish Coach Shelton, Coach Trimble
and the teams the best of luck as they get into full swing this upcoming
week.

· The RHS Beta Club students attended the Third District Spring meet this past Friday and brought home several different awards as the result of their hardwork and efforts. Specific student information is as follows:

Ms. Allie Blythe, a junior at RHS, was selected to be the President of the Third District Beta
program for the 2014-2015 school year. We think she is going to be the
best President this organization has ever seen!! Congratulations to Allie and a
huge thanks to Mrs. Mullen and Mrs. Nelson for their help in ensuring
the success of this group.

· The RMS and RHS academic team students who qualified for
state are currently in Louisville representing our school in the state academic
team meet. Students include:

two teams.

 The RHS FCCLA team members will be traveling to Louisville to compete in their
state leadership competition this week, as well. Sponsor Ashley
McGinnis
will accompanying the following qualifying students on the three
day event:

Congratulations to these students and Mrs. McGinnis on qualifying
for the state competition and we wish them best of luck!

· Twelve RHS Archery students and Coach Jennifer Clark will be traveling to
Louisville tomorrow to compete at the NASP State Archery Tournament.
Students will leave RHS at approximately 9:00am tomorrow and return on Tuesday
evening. The following students have qualified for the event:
