December 4-7, The Stevenson Elementary Family Resource Youth
Services Center sponsored their “Presents for Parents” program which provided every student
the opportunity to choose a present for their parent or other loved one. Each student “shops” for that special item,
helps to wrap it, then takes it home to be placed under their tree, all
free-of-charge. Many of the items are donated from teachers, staff,
and the community. Then, volunteers like
Billie Simpson, shown in the picture along with
Coordinator, Debbie Elliott, wrap and assists the students with their
packages. This is an annual event that the students look forward to and
enjoy so very much! It is
just another way that Stevenson Elementary demonstrates “Every Child Every day”
to their students. We R
