Kaye Warren Wilkins funeral arrangements

It is with sadness we share the passing of Ms. Kaye Wilkins. A 1971 Russellville High School graduate, Ms. Wilkins dedicated her life to the students of the Russellville Independent Schools. She served our District faithfully for almost 37 years from 8/25/75, until 1/31/11, as a teacher, Principal of R.E. Stevenson Elementary, Assistant Superintendent and founder of the Kaye W. Wilkins Pre-school. All those who knew her grieve our loss. Condolences are extended to her daughter, Kayela Clark, and her family. The following is the information from Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home:

Kaye Warren Wilkins, age 66, of Russellville, KY passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, at her home. She was a Russellville native born May 27, 1953, to the late Aubrey Manning Warren and Kathleen Lovell Warren. She served as Assistant Superintendent for the Russellville Independent School System, was Past President of the Delta Kappa Gamma - an International Society for Key Woman Educators, was a Charter Member of the Russellville Independent School Alumni Association and was a member of the United Methodist Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rhea Wilkins. She is survived by her daughter, Kayela Wilkins Clark, and husband, Spencer Conley, of Mount Pleasant, SC. She had 2 grandchildren, Charles Henry Clark and Katherine Lovell Clark.
Funeral Services for Kaye Warren Wilkins will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, at the United Methodist Temple with Rev. Wayne Sayre officiating and burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home will be held Monday, Dec. 2, from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday at the United Methodist Temple from noon until the service hour. Memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Temple. Envelopes will the available at the funeral home and church.
