Little Panther Academy, 10/18/19

The Russellville Independent School District continues to hold its “Little Panther Academy” for the 2019-20 school year at the Logan County Public Library and at Stevenson on alternate Fridays from 10:00—11:30 am.  Once again, Linda Shelton, shared she has been very pleased with the attendance of the children and families.  The children continue to be excited with the return of planned activities that include:  musikgarten, storytelling, make-it & take-it activities, and crafts.  The purpose for the “Little Panther Academy” is to teach parents to become “teachers” of their children, provide families with resources and information to help their children become “School Ready”, and to learn some of the necessary developmental skills children need in order to be successful.  The program also fosters a healthy environment for kids to play and have fun.  Registration is open to parents of children, birth to 3 years old.   For more information contact:  Linda Shelton at (270) 726-8405, or [email protected].  Mrs. Carol Kees, Family Resource Youth Services Coordinator with Stevenson Elementary School, shared, “What’s not to love about Little Panther Academies?  Learning together through music and movement, story time, and seeking and finding the perfect pumpkins for decorating during craft time.  Learning together is always better!”
