Russellville Preschool Academy First Day of School, 8/20/18

Preschool First Day

On Monday, Aug. 20, Russellville Preschool Academy started off school better than expected!  A total of 99 smiling students showed up on the first full-day of school.  Students arrived at 7:30am to ecstatic teachers and their aides.  Superintendent, Bart Flener, was able to experience students connecting with each other and not holding back on first impressions.  Preschool open house was a success in introducing students to their new Principal, Dr. Steven Moats, and the preschool staff.  The Teachers are:  Kacie Mason, Kayleigh Thomas, Tammy Duncan, and Tanya Taylor.  The Instructional Aides are: Felecia Meyer, Kelsey Cross, Leslie Harper, and Irene Vargas.  With an attendance of almost 100 students, it gives the impression that another teacher and instructional aide will possibly need to be secured.  Overall, everything ran smoothly, and the students enjoyed a fantastic first day of school. There’s no doubt Russellville Independent Schools are expanding and growing as a community.  Pictured is Preschooler, Keaton Boisseau, who wasted no time in participating in the hands-on activities, and the Teachers and Instructional Aides stand together in solidarity before school begins for what will be a tremendous year.
