On Tuesday, Nov. 27, the Russellville Junior/Senior Ambassadors held their Annual Welcome Dinner at the Logan County Extension Office for all returning Ambassadors and new Ambassadors for this school year. Ambassador Sponsor, Mrs. Vicki Mathis, began the evening by welcoming all those in attendance. The new Ambassadors were asked to stand and be recognized, then they recognized all the returning Ambassadors. Following their meal, the guest speaker, Middle School Assistant Principal, Mr. Carlos Quarles, was introduced, and he spoke on the qualities of a leader. He stated we should be like bamboo - putting forth the effort, even when we don’t see growth, knowing that it’s worth it in the end.
