Ambassadors Annual Welcoming Dinner, 11/27/18

On Tuesday, Nov. 27, the Russellville Junior/Senior Ambassadors held their Annual Welcome Dinner at the Logan County Extension Office for all returning Ambassadors and new Ambassadors for this school year.  Ambassador Sponsor, Mrs. Vicki Mathis, began the evening by welcoming all those in attendance.  The new Ambassadors were asked to stand and be recognized, then they recognized all the returning Ambassadors.  Following their meal, the guest speaker, Middle School Assistant Principal, Mr. Carlos Quarles, was introduced, and he spoke on the qualities of a leader.  He stated we should be like bamboo - putting forth the effort, even when we don’t see growth, knowing that it’s worth it in the end.  Ms. Jesse Nugent shared the closing comments, and pictures where taken before they were dismissed.  The 2018-19 Russellville Middle and High School Ambassadors are:  Seniors:  Maleah Buckner, Javier Canales, Aracely Gomez, Carson Kash, Hunter McDowell, Jacob Naylor, Ethan Paul, Brooklynn Ray, Jeffrey Steele, Morgan Todd, and Kyran Williams; Juniors:   Jayden Hammer, Alex Hughes, Gram Humphrey, and Ben Slack; Sophomores:  Hannah Alford, Bryant Garcia , Zach Dowlen, Cassidy Farwick,  Makayla Jefferson, Josh McMurry, and Josh Todd; Freshmen:   Blaine Holley, Makiyah Morrow, Addie Mosier, May Ouansombath, and Jennifer Wilkerson; 8th Graders:  Anna Ragland, Graciann Beard, Candace Baker, Lilly Buffa, Natalie Cates, Amiyah Collier, Maria Ruiz, and Layne Steele; 7th Graders:  Malley Jayne, Holden Kennedy, and Elijah McMurry; 6th Graders:  AJ Woodard, Jayce Sparks, and LaReesha Cawthron.
