SES FRYSC canned goods drive, 1/29/19
Last year, Stevenson
Elementary helped with the First Southern National Bank’s Food Drive to help
provide food items for Logan County Good Samaritan. In March 2018,
representatives from FSNB shared with us that our students collected and
donated almost 2,000 cans – we donated more than any other elementary school in
Logan County.12.65pt;background:white'>

The challenge is on – our
goal is set for 2,500 items. We have one entire month to get this
done. We will begin collecting canned items Friday, February 1, and will
continue through Thursday, February 28. Any student, teacher/staff,
community member may donate to this very needed and worthy cause.
Collection boxes will be located in each homeroom, as well as in the front
foyer. The bank will award a pizza party to the homeroom collecting the
most items, so if you want your donation to be counted for a certain homeroom,
please make sure it gets to that room, not the box in the foyer.12.65pt;background:white'> 12.65pt;background:white'>
Any canned or
non-perishable food item may be donated, but this is the suggested list:12.65pt;background:white'> text-align:center;line-height:16.5pt;background:white'>

All items collected will
be donated to the Logan County Good Samaritan to help provide food to families
in Russellville/Logan County.
