Headstart students visit SES

On Wednesday morning, April 15, the Headstart students, parents, and staff visited Stevenson Elementary for their annual Kindergarten Open House trip.  The Headstart guests were greeted and welcomed to SES with a brief meeting in the cafeteria before taking an abbreviated tour of the building.  Afterwards, SES staff provided a brief overview of what students and parents should expect to experience in the fall.  They also provided materials for the parents to share with the students over the summer which will help smooth the transition from Headstart to Kindergarten.  Each child present also received their very own copy of the book, "The Night Before Kindergarten", by Julie Durrell.
