You may think the summer is here, time for some "R&R", however, for Calvin Head, Russellville Junior/Senior High School Athletic Director, it seems like he’s just continued working! Lots of “dribbling” has been happening this week at Russellville Middle School & Stevenson Elementary School gyms as the Lady Panthers Basketball team held Basketball Camp. All the participants seemed to be having a great time. The camp was opened for K-5th grade girls at Russellville Middle School and for K-5th grade boys at Stevenson. Coach Head stated he had about 30 girls involved, and the boys under the direction of Coach Ryan Davenport had an even greater number. The K-2nd graders met and learn the fundamentals from 9am – 10:15, and the 3rd-5th graders met from 10:30am – noon, Monday through Friday, June 1-5. Each camper received lots of knowledge, valuable practice time, and a nice camp T-shirt.
