Stevenson Elementary School held its first Town Meeting for the new school year on Friday, August 28. The Morning Leaders: (pictured L-R) Madicyn Faith, Kaprice Gordan, Adrian Taylor, Haydon Bird, and Trystanne Hickman presented the morning announcements and led in the pledge to the flag. Mrs. Carol Kees made an announcement regarding the upcoming event, "Dinner with Dad", on Tuesday, the 1st of September and also introduced the guest speaker for the day, Nurse Joyce Noe. She shared with us the importance of washing our hands properly and coughing and sneezing etiquette to assist others from not "catching" our germs. Then, each "Leader of the Month" was announced and presented a token and certificate. They were as follows: Kindergarten: Khloe Allison, Kaitlin Paddock, Maria Griner, Rylee Hammer; First Grade: Amonzo Osborne, Ian Keith, JaNasia Taylor; Second Grade: Adrionna Clayton, Hannah Logan, Chloe Penrod; Third Grade: Luc Cockrell, Macie Barrow, Grayson Beard, Gracie Starks; Fourth Grade: Chrystalin Higgins, Eli McMurry, Reese Croslin; and Fifth Grade: Cassie Daniels, Mackiyah Bertha, and Selena Chavez. Congratulations to all these whom have begun a great new year!
