CharacterWorks Ceremony/Recognition

CharacterWorks Ceremony/Recognition

Logan County CharacterWorks held their 3rd Citizens of Character recognition ceremony on Sat., 02/07/15, at the Logan County Public Library. Fifty-one students were in attendance as they represented Adairville, Auburn, Chandlers, Olmstead, Lewisburg, and Stevenson Elementary schools. A nice “standing-room-only” reception was enjoyed by over 100 guests. The crowd was entertained by guitar duos, Mr. Glen Browning and Mr. Joe Hughes. Rev. Brad Rogers, Pastor of New Vision Community Church, shared a motivational message with our students and their families. Mrs. Lisa White, Director of CharacterWorks, presented each student with a Medal and bumper sticker. Mrs. White was pleased with this effort and was quoted, “This was the best turn out yet! We are delighted that CharacterWorks is able to recognize students who exemplify positive character on a daily basis. The students are nominated by their teachers, and it is a big honor for them. We are fortunate to have these young people in our community who are developing into our leaders of tomorrow.” We are grateful for all the effort taken for our County to be one of Character.
