Good Sunday afternoon to everyone!
Congratulations to our middle school softball team on their first victory Saturday over Moss Middle!! We are very proud of their hard work and the long hours they have put into getting this team reestablished as part of our athletic program. We look forward to their continued growth and victories!!
Just a reminder that progress reports will be sent home with students on Wednesday. These are progress reports for the first 4 and 1/2 weeks of school. The first nine week grading period will end after Fall Break in October with report cards being mailed home around the third week of October. We will schedule a parent/teacher conference night for October, as well. Please remember that grades can be checked regularly through Parent Portal on Infinite Campus and by contacting teachers. Now is the time to be proactive regarding issues or struggles that students may be having regarding grades and assignments!!
We are also in the planning stages for a College and Career Readiness/Commitment to Graduate event during September for our 9th and 10th grade parents and students. During this event, we hope to have several different individuals here to help you and your child make better, more informed decisions regarding college and career planning. We will also hold a Commitment to Graduate signing ceremony for 9th and 10th grade students during that time.
