Good Sunday evening to all!
We have had two fabulous days at RJSHS and we are super excited about the new school year. A new program that is available to our students for this school year is the Panther College Academy. Qualified seniors will be given the opportunity to be transported to both the Bowling Green and Franklin campuses of Southern Kentucky Community and Technical College to take up to 9 hours of dual-credit college courses during each semester. Students will attend classes Monday thru Thursday starting on Aug. 15th. We also are extremely proud of our students who now make up the Panther Platoon of the JROTC program at Logan County High School. Students reported to their first JROTC class on Friday and were very enthusiastic upon their return to school about this program and the experiences they will be provided. A huge thanks to our Superintendent and our school board for allowing us to provide these unique opportunities to our students.
Good luck to our golf team, our middle school softball ladies and our middle school and high school football teams as we get those seasons underway this week!! Go Big P!!
