Granddaughter, Kelley Paul, had the privilege of issuing Russellville High School’s First Golden Panther Pass to her “Papaw”, Harold "Tubby" Hinton, age 88. Mr. Hinton is a graduate of Russellville High School, class of 1947. He enjoyed talking with Superintendent, Leon Smith, and reminiscing about his school days. He has had 4 generations in his family go through the halls of Russellville schools, and currently has two great grandchildren, Katherine and Ethan Paul in the RJSHS Marching Band. Mr. Hinton is a loyal fan and is already looking forward to this Friday’s game where the Panthers will host the Trigg County Wildcats in the 1st Annual “Buddy” Linton-Howard Wren Kickoff Classic, at 6:30pm.
