Stevenson Elementary School held its 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Principal, Lisa White, welcomed the families and friends of those being recognized. A.J. Taylor gave the invocation, and special music was performed by the 5th Grade Band and SEAL Music Students. Mr. Charles Main was the guest speaker as he challenged each student to be their best and set high goals but to enjoy this time of their lives. He encouraged them to be thankful and express their thanks. Awards and recognitions were presented by each 5th grade teacher. At the conclusion, Mrs. Shelly Greene was recognized and presented flowers as she is retiring. She is well-loved and many in the crowd stood indicating they had her as their teacher.
