The Russellville Panther Archery team was in action at home this week during their annual tournament.  Over 31 different schools was represented as reported by Coach Jeramy Rust, who is very grateful and thankful for all the volunteer help and support with this weekend’s event.  The archery team will be in action again this weekend as they continue to work toward qualifying for the state tournament.  Good luck to all of our Panther Archers!!

The RHS Panther Basketball team, accompanied by our RHS Cheerleaders, left on Wednesday for competition in the All A State Basketball Tournament in Frankfort.  The Panthers easily handled their first two opponents, East Ridge and Mayfield, to earn a spot in the state semi-finals before falling in overtime to Newport Catholic.  Pedro Bradshaw and Jacob Naylor were chosen as all-tournament team members and recognized at the end of yesterday’s game.  A huge thanks to our coaches, our cheerleaders—who did an amazing job during their competition on Thursday, our students and fans who traveled to cheer on our team!
