RHS Senior Beta Club Inducts New Members, 09/26/16

The Russellville High School Senior Beta Club inducted 19 new members on Sunday, September 26, 2016, during an afternoon ceremony.  Presiding over the induction was Beta Sponsor, Tanya Mullen, along with Senior Beta members Ashlee Gilbert, Caitlyn Smith, Bryan Ison, Maleah Buckner, Emma McReynolds, Anna Shoulders, and Austin Coursey.

New members being inducted included Kaden Boyd, Nathan Cates, Amariah Christie, Cecily Christie, Destiny Daniels, Michael DeArmond, Brendan Farlee, Jayden Hammer, Marta Hughes, Madison Hyams, Laura Mullen, Allison Sadler, Rian Saul, Robert Skipworth, Benjamin Slack, My Duyen Tran, Brandy West, Matthew Wilkerson, and Christopher Williams.  Following the ceremony the inductees and their families enjoyed refreshments served by RHS teacher, Chris Holloman, and Senior Beta member. Will Mullen.

The National Beta Club is the nation's largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization.  It was formed in 1934, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, by Wofford College professor, Dr. John W. Harris.  The organization currently has over 450,000 active members and more than 8,750 clubs nationally and internationally.  The mission of the National Beta Club is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among students.
