--The SES/RMS/RHS Academic Teams will hold their annual
recognition ceremony and banquet this Tuesday, April 29th, at
5:30. The event will take place in the
RHS Cafeteria. Ms. Shoemake asks that any member who has received a medal to bring it with them to school or to the ceremony so that they can be displayed during the ceremony. If you need more information, please contact
your academic team coach.
--We would like to thank the Russellville Alumni Association
for hosting and organizing the Kelly Russell Classic this past weekend at
RHS. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the story of Kelly Russell, he was struck by a baseball while the Panther Baseball team was preparing for a regional game in May of 1974. The alumni association, along with his sister, Mrs. Joanne Russell Bennett, spent the weekend sharing his story and raising money for the Kelly Russell Scholarship which will be awarded to one of our Senior students during our commencement service this year. If you would like to donate or contribute to the scholarship fund, please contact Mrs. Jean Reynolds for more information. If you would like to know more of the Kelly

--Congratulations to our baseball team on several victories
during the Kelly Russell classic this past weekend. The Lady Panthers were also victorious this Saturday beating the Springfield High School softball team!
