Due to the overwhelming response at our preschool registration, two more days have been added for preschool screenings. The screenings are for children who will be 3 or 4 by August 1, 2016. The dates will be May 6, 8:00 - 11:30 and May 13, 12:30 - 3:00. If you were unable to have your child screened last Friday, please call Linda Shelton at 270-726-8405, to schedule an appointment. If you were unable to attend the kindergarten registration last week, you can stop by on those dates to register your child for Kindergarten.
Pre-registration for the 2016-2017, school year at Stevenson Elementary School’s Kaye W. Wilkins Preschool Program was held on Friday, March 25, 2016. The Early Childhood Education Program is a half-day program that provides transportation and lunch for eligible 3– and 4– year olds, but children who are 2-and-a-half may go through the screening process. Linda Shelton, Preschool Coordinator, stated the enrollment has gone very well, and she’s anticipating an exciting year ahead.
