Russellville Independent School students were
recognized for their significant gains in their reading progress on Tuesday,
Jan. 23, at the Central Office during the regularly monthly Board of Education
meeting. These students have been enrolled in comprehensive reading
intervention programs known as Read 180 and System 44. The programs use a
blended-learning model and leverages adaptive technology to individualize
instruction for students. These following students have worked diligently
and exited the Read 180 and System 44 programs: 3rd
Grade: Adia Cox, Joli Morris, Presley Rowland, Elijah Sells, and Hugo
Barrientos; 4th Grade: Zakiah Allen, Tayshon Cross, and Olivia Sayne; 5th
Grade: Destiny Cannon, Kayelynn Davenport, Marlei Elliott, Alex Holdren,
Octavius McKeage, Enrique Ovalle, Ethan Warren, Ty Whitlow, Alivia Blakey, and
Sophia Arnold; 6th Grade: Madison Penrod, Treyvonn Stevenson, and
Easton Barrow; 7th Grade: Jonathan Young; 8th Grade: Kaitlynn
Dunkley, Phillip Good, and Jonathon Zamarripa; 9th Grade: Destiny Sydnor,
Diego Ramirez, Jaquis Todd, and Jackson Hampton. Congratulations
