Stevenson Elementary Kindergarten and 1st Grade classrooms had a field trip to the Logan County Public Library Tuesday, Aug. 22, to explore and learn with the Science in Play 2GO exhibit. This “Science in Play 2GO exhibit” introduces a progressive, next-generation learning experience for young children and their families. Rich in loose parts and open-ended play, kids and adults are empowered to learn together and for life. This exhibit is presented in collaboration with our Logan County Public Library and Kentucky Science Center, www.KYScienceCenter.org. It is partnering with and assisting in combating the state’s school readiness statistics with a keen focus on 21st century learning skills – all through the power of play.
